Questions
What should we wear?

Semi-formal — a suit and tie, or a midi or floor-length dress. April days in Cape Town are warm and bright, but it cools quickly after sunset, so bring a layer for the evening.

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony begins at 11:00. Please aim to arrive by 10:30 — the roads near the church can be busy on a Saturday morning with visitors heading to Kirstenbosch, so do allow a little extra time to park and be seated.

Is there parking at the church?

There is on-street parking along Kirstenbosch Drive, on both sides of the road, shortly before you reach the church. Do bear in mind that the approach can be congested with traffic heading to the gardens on a Saturday morning, so please plan for a slower run in than the map suggests.

Are children welcome?

Children of ten and under are very welcome to join us. From eleven upwards, we have kept the day an adults-only celebration.

Where should we stay?

The Southern Suburbs are the easiest base — both the church and the reception are there, about fifteen minutes’ drive from one another. An Uber between the two costs around R150 each way.
